ASRC’s QA Office develops and implements policies and procedures related to all quality management activities including quality planning, quality assurance, and quality control, and ensures that our approach to quality management is compliant with that of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) as detailed in ISO 9000 series of standards and guidelines. The Office provides guidance and assists Project Managers in establishing and managing their internal quality management processes, and participates in scheduled program and business management reviews. ASRC Aerospace, one of our team members, is ISO-9000:2001 certified and ARTS utilizes many of the same processes in the implmentation of our QMS.

ASRC’s Quality Assurance Manager identifies which quality standards are relevant to the project and determines how to satisfy them; evaluates overall project performance on a regular basis to provide confidence that the project will satisfy the relevant quality standards, and monitors specific project results to determine if they comply with relevant quality standards; identifying ways to eliminate causes of unsatisfactory performance.

In addition to our overall focus on a consistent dedication to quality, our QMS has a number of procedures in place to ensure that we monitor and sustain our performance. Our Project Managers are responsible for all aspects of their projects, including continual monitoring of project implementation and review of all deliverables to ensure that only high quality products are provided. Their Project Plans must include specific procedures for ensuring quality support and review of products, including the specific individuals that will have review responsibility. Additionally, since the customer is the final arbiter of product quality, every Project Plan must include specific procedures for obtaining customer feedback.
